Nashville Berklee Jam
with special guest
Award-winning vocal coach, Judy Rodman
at The Rutledge
Join us on Monday, April 28 at 7 p.m. at the Rutledge for our next Berklee Alumni event featuring award-winning vocal coach, Judy Rodman.
What is it worth to be able to nail a studio vocal? Did you know that the way a singer stands at the mic can sabotage control, limit resonance and create strain in the voice? Your hands, eyes, mental focus, vocal health and even what you are wearing matters to recorded vocals. Veteran singer, vocal coach and producer Judy Rodman has been working both sides of the vocal booth for over 4 decades. She will share insider tips and techniques that singers and production teams need to know to capture vocal performance magic.
This event is open to the public and free to Berklee alums with a $5 cover for non-alumni (each alum can have one guest get in for free). After Judy’s talks there will be an open jam during which singers can receive free vocal coaching from Judy. There will be a sign-up sheet for the jam, which will be first come first serve (all styles welcome, if you would like to play original songs please bring number or chord charts).
